Viewing Assessment Results on the Map

A guide to viewing parking lot and roof assessment results on the map in Phygii.

Assessment Overlays on the Map

When a parking lot or roof assessment has been published for a location, you can view the results directly on the interactive map as a color-coded overlay. This makes it easy to see at a glance where surface issues are concentrated on a property.

How to View Assessment Results on the Map

  1. Open a location from the Locations list.
  2. Click the Location Map chip at the top of the location detail page to jump to that location on the map, or navigate to the map and click the location's pin.
  3. Once the location is open on the map, look for the assessment layer controls to enable the assessment overlay.

What You Will See

Three types of overlays may be shown for an assessment:

  • Heatmap — A color-coded layer showing the overall condition across the surface. Areas in worse condition appear in warmer colors (red, orange) while better condition areas appear in cooler colors (green).
  • Detections — Markers or highlights showing specific locations where defects such as cracks, potholes, or patches were identified.
  • Segmentation — Zones or regions showing how different areas of the surface were classified.

Using the Map View for Maintenance Planning

The map view is particularly useful for planning maintenance work. Because defects are pinpointed to their exact geographic location on the property, you can share the map view with contractors or facilities staff to show precisely where repairs are needed.
