Viewing 3D Models and Virtual Tours

A guide to viewing 3D models and virtual tours in Phygii.

What 3D Content Is Available

Some locations in Phygii include embedded 3D content that gives you an immersive view of the property. This can include:

  • 3D Models — Three-dimensional representations of a property or specific area, often created from laser scans or photogrammetry.
  • 3DVR Tours — Interactive virtual reality walkthroughs (such as Matterport tours) that let you explore a space as if you were there.
  • Custom Embeds — Other embedded content such as video walkthroughs or interactive viewers.

Where to Find 3D Content

On the Location Detail Page

  1. Open a location from the Locations list.
  2. Click the 3D Embed tab on the location detail page.
  3. You will see a list of all 3D models, VR tours, and custom embeds associated with this location.
  4. Click any item to open its viewer.

On the Map

3D content also appears as a layer on the map. From the map layers menu, enable the 3D Model, 3DVR, or Custom Embed media type layers. Markers will appear on the map at the location of each 3D item. Click a marker to view it.

Interacting with 3D Content

The viewing experience depends on the type of content:

  • 3D Models — Rotate, zoom, and pan around the model using your mouse or trackpad.
  • 3DVR Tours — Click hotspots to navigate from room to room, look around in 360°, and explore the space interactively.

Availability

3D content must be set up by your Immersion Data Solutions team. If you do not see a 3D Embed tab or any 3D markers on the map for a location, it means no 3D content has been uploaded for that property yet.
